I lay down beside the imprint in the sleeping bag. Not to sleep. To listen.

I sat cross-legged among the ferns. I didn't drink the grog. I didn't touch the coconut. Instead, I closed my eyes and let the plants speak.

That camp wasn't forgotten. It was held. The grog, the coconut, the crooked tent—they became an altar to the act of stopping. To collapsing mid-journey. To saying: I can't go further tonight, and that is holy.

What to Expect

As of now, there is no set release date for the first eXybit-developed stable version of Absolute Linux. We're bringing Absolute into modern computing while keeping it minimal. The first step is to preserve what already exists, rebuild the underlying infrastructure, and create a canary version of the next major stable release.

Legacy Versions Still Available

You can still download the original versions of Absolute Linux by Paul Sherman on SourceForge.
