(bottom): Destroy a friendly summon → deal 3 damage to all enemies adjacent to it. Your main burst tool. 5. Playstyle & Turn Flow Turn 1 (setup): Play a bottom action that creates two Swarm tokens or summons an Ant. Top action: Hive Mind or a move+shuffle.

When summons are about to die or you have 3+ in a cluster, use Swarm Detonation or Feeding Frenzy to clear a room. Then replay Call the Swarm (you can recover lost summons with your level 5 recover card).

1. Overview & Role The Hive is a summon-focused, area-control Tinkerer – but much more effective than its Gloomhaven counterpart. You control a swarm of insects (mostly ants, bees, and beetles) that act as extensions of your will.
