He discovers the “BDRip” tape has spread underground. Anyone who watches it starts seeing Pennywise in reflections—not attacking, just watching . And then the missing children reports begin again. We learn IT’s death wasn’t final. The creature’s true form—the Deadlights —exists outside time. When the Losers wounded it in 1989, it didn’t die. It fractured . Now, fragments of IT are emerging in Derry’s past, present, and future simultaneously.
But Tommy has already copied the tape to 100 VHS cassettes, hidden in the Barrens. The final scene: Caleb holds a boombox playing a recording of the BDRip’s audio. Pennywise’s voice comes through, distorted: “You can’t kill a god with a tape.”
Pennywise’s 1962 form appears on stage, laughing, then screaming as its body pixelates and glitches like corrupted video. The fragment shatters.
