Jennys Odd Adventure -

It opened.

And that, oddly enough, was exactly the point. The End. Or possibly the beginning. It depends on when you’re reading this.

“I made you curious,” the figure corrected. “There’s a difference. Now. I have a problem. The town of Mapleton has been… repeating. Last Tuesday happened three times last week. Mr. Finster has mowed his hedge backward twice. And your mother has served meatloaf for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for four days straight.” jennys odd adventure

Finding Glitch turned out to be simpler than expected. The sprite was hiding inside a grandfather clock that chimed 13 times at noon. Glitch was small, glowing, and apologetic. It hadn’t meant to cause chaos—it had just wanted to see what would happen if Tuesday had a do-over. Then a do-over of the do-over. Then a do-over of the do-over of the do-over.

The figure explained: a small, mischievous sprite named Glitch had been bored and decided to rewind, fast-forward, and scramble small moments in Mapleton. The sprite’s lair was hidden behind a door that could only be found by someone who had completed an “odd adventure.” It opened

“Ah,” the figure said. “Jenny of Mapleton. You received my envelope.”

“You made me turn left into a hedge,” Jenny said flatly. Or possibly the beginning

Behind the hedge was not the Finsters’ backyard, but a narrow path lined with mismatched lanterns. Some flickered blue. Others hummed like a refrigerator’s lullaby. A small wooden sign read: “Welcome to the Slightly Adjacent.”
