Here’s a review based on the premise of “MET (Manhattan Edit Workshop) – Realized I wanted to be a cinematographer” :
That’s not a knock on MET’s editing courses—quite the opposite. Their hands-on, gear-forward approach to post-production accidentally gave me the most valuable cinematography lesson possible:
“MET taught me to cut. Then it taught me that I’d rather be the one rolling.”
One star removed only because MET doesn’t have a camera/lighting track. But as an unexpected origin story? Worth every penny.
I came to MET thinking I needed to be a better editor. I left realizing I wanted to be a cinematographer.
