Ethan Hunt (played by Hrithik Roshan or a rugged, older action star like Ajay Devgn) is in a covert deal on a Ganga aarti boat. He intercepts a deadly nerve gas formula from a rogue ISI agent. But the mission is compromised. A shadowy figure—Solomon Lane (essayed by Manoj Bajpayee)—watches from a temple balcony. His syndicate, Virodh (The Opposition), dismantles Hunt’s team in minutes.

Mission: Impossible – Virodh Sangathan (विरोध संगठन) or M:I – Maut Ka Saudagar (मौत का सौदागर)

Ethan’s IMF (now called Rashtriya Suraksha Abhiyaan – RSA) is disbanded by a cynical government official (a power-packed cameo by Naseeruddin Shah). The official claims Hunt is a liability chasing a ghost—because Virodh has no official existence. Lane is the “maut ka saudagar” (merchant of death) who has operatives inside every intelligence agency: RAW, ISI, MI5, CIA. His goal: destabilize the global economy and then rebuild it under his syndicate’s control.
