A cult of former Tech Hunters who have surgically removed their own eardrums. They communicate via written notes and vibrations in the floor. Their leader, Priest Mute , believes the Fogmen’s shrieks are a form of prayer to a dead god. They maintain the "Scream-Posts"—massive iron tuning forks driven into the ground around the town that resonate with the Fogmen's cries, confusing their echolocation.
