Tacked to the cork is a printed list: Fall Semester Honor Students. At the very top, underlined in blue ink by an unknown admirer, is the name Sona Bella .

“Sona is the glue,” says classmate and debate captain Marcus Chen. “Everyone sees the grades. We see the person who stays until 9 PM to fix the bus schedule for a tournament.
