She’s brittle, defensive, and deeply competent but unsure of herself. It’s a masterclass in passing the baton. The procedural side of the episode is tight. The victim, Saif Ali , isn't just a local hero; he’s a community pillar. The investigation leads us down the usual promising alleys—gambling debts, a suspicious rival trainer, family secrets—but The Bay has always been about the psychology of grief, not just the forensics.
