First time I put on boxers. I stood in front of the mirror and just… cried. Not sad. Just – oh. That’s what it’s supposed to feel like. Like my body finally got the memo.

They clink random objects – a mug, a water bottle, a TV remote. Fade out on soft laughter and the glow of fairy lights.

Bathrooms. I thought it would always be this huge terrifying thing. But honestly? Most people are too busy crying in the stall or avoiding eye contact to even notice you. (Pause) Also, swimsuits. I just wear swim trunks and a rash guard now. I look like a divorced dad on a fishing trip, and I’ve never been happier.
The living room is dim, lit only by fairy lights and a muted TV playing old music videos. Blankets and snack debris cover every surface. JUNE, SAM, ALEX, and RILEY are sprawled across cushions, faces smudged with face mask residue. Not sad
