Virtio Drivers Iso May 2026
For very old kernels, you may need initrd with virtio modules. Use VirtIO ISO when: Windows VM on KVM/Proxmox Download from: fedorapeople.org/groups/virt/virtio-win/stable-virtio/ Disk driver folder: viostor\<windows-version>\amd64 Network driver folder: NetKVM\<windows-version>\amd64 Install method: Load driver during Windows disk selection Pro tip: Run guest-tools.exe after OS is installed If you are using a specific hypervisor (Proxmox, oVirt, OpenStack, manual QEMU), I can provide the exact command line or UI steps for that environment.
| Folder | Driver for | |--------|-------------| | NetKVM/ | VirtIO network adapter | | viostor/ | VirtIO block (disk) driver | | vioscsi/ | VirtIO SCSI controller | | Balloon/ | Memory ballooning driver | | vioserial/ | VirtIO serial/console | | pvpanic/ | Paravirtual panic device | | qxldod/ | QXL display driver (optional) | virtio drivers iso
– just set disk bus to VirtIO and install normally. For very old kernels, you may need initrd

I was just wondering, is there ever such a thing as “over scoring” ? (I don’t mean the depth, but I mean the number of score cuts or the surface area that gets scored)

Hey Veronica! Yes, it’s absolutely a thing. Scoring should be effective in order for the surface to bloom optimally. Each stroke comes with a trade of oven spring, since tension is released from the surface . If the pattern on top is more important then the spring then it’s no real issue, the content and fermentation of the bread is still the same.
